Situated just less than 8 km / 5 miles north of the city, Norwich International Airport (NWI) is an airport with a single terminal, facilitating air travel to and from the East Anglia region of England. Domestic, European and transatlantic destinations are all served by flights from Norwich Airport, with carriers such as bmi, Eastern Airways and KLM flying into cities such as Aberdeen, Amsterdam, Dublin, Edinburgh, Jersey and Paris.

Close to both Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft, Norwich Airport lies next to the suburbs of Beeston, Catton, Hellesdon, Horsham St. Faith and Spixworth. The airport features two runways and is also used by helicopters and flying schools, including Premier Flight Training and the Norwich School of Flying.


Well known car hire companies, such as Avis, Europcar and Hertz, are on hand in the main concourse, while parking for some 1,100 vehicles is available across two car parks, with short-stay and long-stay options both being offered.
